Russian Blini With Caviar And Creamy Sauce

Serves: 4

Ingredients

  • 120g cream cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • Salt, to taste

Filling:

  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 1 tablespoon heavy cream
  • 150g Alaskan caviar

 

Directions

  1. Make the blini; combine cream cheese, eggs, baking powder, and salt to taste into a food blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Heat non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  4. Pour ¼ of batter into skillet.
  5. Cook 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Remove and repeat with remaining batter. Keep blini warm.
  7. In the meantime, combine sour cream, garlic, dill weed, and heavy cream in a bowl.
  8. Spread the mixture over blini. Sprinkle with caviar and roll.
  9. Serve,
