Avocado Fries

Serves: 6

Ingredients

  • 2 avocados, California, pitted, peeled
  • 1 large eggs
  • 1 cup almond meal
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Dip:

  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce

 

Directions

  1. Slice each avocado into 6 slices.
  2. Beat egg with salt and pepper into a bowl.
  3. Combine almond flour and some salt in a separate bowl.
  4. Dip avocado slices into egg, and dredge through almond meal.
  5. Heat 4cm oil in a skillet.
  6. Fry avocado 45 seconds. Repeat with remaining.
  7. Drain onto paper towels.
  8. To make dip; combine mayonnaise and hot sauce in a small bowl.
  9. Serve avocado with dip.
